Hi! I’ve been called many names: Hanna, Hania, Han, Haneczka, Hanka, Hanula, Hanuta, Hanusia, Hanulka, even Heniek. My full name is Hanna Nykowska - everyone call me Hania. Welcome!

I am very passionate about solving various problems and empowering people to do the same by asking questions and challenging their way of thinking. If you’ve met me, you know that I value transparent and, lately, compassionate communication.

Growing up in a family where everyone in my proximity had technical or math-related background it’s no wonder I stayed in that direction: I’ve been working as a Data Analytics Consultant since 2019 and my areas of expertise are data process automation and reports building. In that section of my life, one of my ambitions is building reliable processes that reduce manual work and make my and others’ lives easier.

To balance the mind and intellectual activity, I’ve been also exploring the artistic and spiritual side of me through classes and regular meditation. This is bringing up for me more and more questions on what a sustainable way of working means and how we can be better for one another. No answers yet, but they are something I will be searching for!

I have set up this blog site back in 2021 trying to fill the time in lockdowns. It was a fantastic journey where I have learned a lot. You may have noticed that the last entries are not recent. Not recent at all. There are two reasons for this:

1. Following the pandemic, I’ve been on a hiatus from online life, exploring the joys of IRL experiences. A comeback to online presence is imminent… - stay tuned!
2. Unfortunately, I did not write a blog post on how exactly I set up the backbones of developing and testing this site. No blog that I could follow now on another laptop! Bear with me as I go through this process again and create more blogs in the near future. (I’ll make sure to properly document the process this time round!)
